CURBSIDE BRUSH COLLECTION
Curbside brush collection is done mid-April through September EVERY OTHER Monday, the same week as recycling. Yard waste can be placed by the curb no sooner than the Saturday before the scheduled pickup date but by 6:00 a.m. on collection day. Curbside collection is intended for disposal of ROUTINE yard waste and brush debris, not debris resulting from major yard/landscaping renovations.
- Brush must be cut to 4 foot lengths and neatly piled with the cut ends to the street in a pile no larger than 4 feet high or 4 foot long. All brush limbs must be 4 inches or less in diameter.
- Other yard waste must be placed in containers with handles or bagged. Bags are to be left open. The containers and/or bags must be free from water and able to be picked up by 1 person.
- September - November leaves should be raked onto the side of the street for City crew to pick up. In the spring, leaves must be bagged or put in a container.
If you have concerns that the debris generated by your yard activities may fall outside of the scope of our curb side collection policy, please contact the City Clerk's office at 920-833-2209 prior to initiating your project so we can provide guidance as to your options for disposing of your anticipated yard waste and debris.
