Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (CORP)

The city will be updating its Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (CORP) in 2026. The CORP acts like a roadmap to guide the development, maintenance, and acquisition of parks, trails, and open spaces, ensuring they meet community needs. Key benefits include unlocking state/federal funding such as Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Stewardship Grant opportunities, promoting sustainable, cost-effective resource management, and enhancing community vibrancy. During the early months of spring, the East Central Wisconsin Regional Plan Commission will be conducting stakeholder meetings/focus groups to gather public input on our park system.
